we had our last snow. what followed were weeks with much rain and little sun.
this weekend was just great - packed with sun and activity - the warmest days for this year so far. i want more of that!

german highland games

you think you have to go to scotland to see men with skirts, pipe bands, hammer (weight) throwing and caber tossing? you're so wrong. we have that in germany, too. namely, here in this beautiful park, surrounded by this castle.
we had lots of fun with the sheep dog show, the highland cattle, celtic arts and highland dancing.

i forgot to show you some pictures from the weekend before last weekend. i've been to something like a folk festival on a "cultural island" (this is how they call it) - the "folklorum" near the polish border.

technically i have to do a presentation but practically i'm not in the mood for it.

then i decided to go out playing volleyball but the weather upset my plan and i had to rearrange it. so i did what i always do when being purposeless - going out for dinner.

now i'm home again and still not in the mood for work. solution: watching videos.
