a guy from the "peanut shop" gave all the vendors at the christmas market abox full of roasted nuts as a christmas ift. as i had bought them before and really liked them, i said to him: "oh, thanks! i love your nuts!" ...and suddenly all the customers were laughing at me. well, my excuse was that i'm not a native speaker but i think i would have even said the same in german. :)

"I love YOU nuts" heißt so viel wie "ich liebe Dich wie verrückt". Diese Nüsse müssen echt gut sein :-)))
